Community Home Care was established to meet the growing demand for non-medical senior home care services in Massachusetts. We are a privately owned and operated home care agency serving the needs of elders on the South Shore of Massachusettes and Cape Cod. Community Home Care is licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Labor Standards, Boston and the Department of Public Health, Norwell.

We incorporate a unique team approach to in-home health care. Our wide range of services makes it possible to provide the best possible care, allowing our clients to maintain a quality lifestyle, and to remain in their homes with dignity.

Our owner/administrator, Ann Bragdon, enjoyed a long career as a case manager with the Massachusetts Department of Elder Affairs. She was nominated for, and received the Governor’s Massachusetts Home Care Award in recognition of her service and devotion to improving the quality of life for countless seniors in Massachusetts. She maintained and managed a branch office of Franklin County Home Care in western Massachusetts where she coordinated services for elders in rural and challenging circumstances.

After leaving the Department of Elder Affairs, Ann started her own agency, Comprehensive Home Care in South Deerfield, Massachusetts which she managed for 10 years. She was well known in the area for her commitment to assisting elders to remain in their own homes with the highest quality of services. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to home health care on the south shore of Massachusettes.
